[Sportschosun Ahn So-yoon] Actress Yuna shared her thoughts on taking on multiple roles in the film 'Shadow Child.'

At the press and distribution screening for 'Shadow Child' held on the 25th at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Yuna said, "I did not deliberately try to find differences between each character. I tried to focus on each person's background and life."

Set to open on July 1, 'Shadow Child' follows Suan, who wakes from a coma after three years and falls into the mystery of the 'Shadow Fairy Tale' after meeting Geum-ok, her changed mother, and Jae-in, a girl with the face of her deceased older sister Suryeon. The film was directed by Yoo Eun-jung.

Yuna played multiple roles, including Suryeon, Suan's older sister; Jae-in, a mysterious girl who looks exactly like Suryeon; and Yunseo. She said, "As soon as I read the script, I was extremely curious about it. When I read a script, I usually start picturing it in my head, and this time it was especially vivid. Jae-in also came across as a very attractive character."

On what she focused on in her performance, she explained, "When playing the three characters, I did not intentionally look for differences. I focused on each person's background and life, and the distinctions emerged naturally. During the preparation process, I also had many conversations with the director and asked fundamental questions like, 'Why did this character do that?' Each time, the director answered thoughtfully, and that helped me immerse myself in the role."
