[Sportschosun Lee Ge-eun] Ryu Yi-seo, the wife of Shinhwa member Jin Jin, visited the tree burial site of her father-in-law, the late singer Charlie Park, and burst into tears.
On the 25th, a video titled "The reason Ryu Yi-seo suddenly cried while visiting Jin Jin's father's tree burial site" was uploaded to the YouTube channel My Love Ryu I-seo.
Ryu Yi-seo said, "We’re on our way to see my father-in-law and grandmother," as she headed to the tree burial site with Jin Jin. Jin Jin said, "After my father mentioned the tree burial site for my grandmother, he had a place prepared for himself too, and even one for me. I told him, 'Dad, you still have a long way to go, so why did you arrange it in advance?' but..." He then trailed off.
Jin Jin's father, singer Charlie Park, died on November 7, 2023, at the age of 68.
Jin Jin added, "If my father had been there alone, I would have felt a bit uneasy, but it felt different with my grandmother beside him," expressing relief.
Once they arrived at the tree burial site, Jin Jin said, "I’m happy to be here to see my grandmother and father after such a long time, but it also makes me think how fast time really passes." He then imitated his father's voice, and Ryu Yi-seo read his feelings, saying, "You almost cried just now, didn’t you?"
Ryu Yi-seo then said tearfully, "I’ll do my best by your side so that our beloved son, Chung-jae, can be happy," and Jin Jin replied, "I think our grandmother and father would be so happy. I’ll live happily with Yi-seo."
