Kim Go-eun and Lee Jumyoung to Win 2024 Female Film of the Year Award and Rookie Award at Women's Film Festival

The winners of the 2024 Women's Film of the Year Award, hosted by the Women's Film Artists Association, have been announced. The 2024 Women's Film of the Year Award will present 12 awards, including the Producer Award, Director Award, Screenplay Award, Acting Award, New Actor Award, Documentary Award, Technology Award, and Publicity Marketing Award, along with the previously announced Honorary Professor Joo Jin-sook, Female Film of the Year Award, Ra Mi-ran, Kang Soo-yeon Award, Film Industry Overcoming Crisis in the Film Industry.
The 2024 Female Film of the Year Award for Best Producer was chosen by Annapurna Film's Ianna, who produced the films 'Makgeolli will tell you' and 'Victory', Best Director 'Makgeolli will tell you'Makgeolli will tell you' Kim Da-min. The acting award will be given to Kim Go-eun of 「The Love Act of the Large City」, the rookie acting award will be given to Lee Joo-myung, and the new director award will be given to director Jung Ji-hye. Director Kim Mi-rye was chosen for the documentary award '10 Wells' Director Kim Mi-rye for the technical award 'Jangson'Art Director Kim Chae-ram, and Scone for the promotional marketing award 'Department'.
The Women's Film Festival will be held as the Women's Film of the Year Award, which spotlights filmmakers who have performed remarkably well throughout the year. The 2024 Women's Film of the Year Award ceremony, which marks its 25th anniversary this year, will be hosted by Munsori at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th under the sponsorship of the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
The winners were selected by the 2024 Female Film of the Year Nominee Selection Committee for theatrical releases and OTT original films from November 1, 2023 to October 31, 2024. Among them, the acting award and the rookie acting award are selected by combining the opinions of members and board members of the Women's Film Artists Association, which consists of female filmmakers active in the field.
