RIIZE Reflects on Year-End Performances and Teases 2025

Starting with this year's single 'Love 119', Rise has continued its activities with 'RIIZING', its first mini-album including the title song 'Boom Boom Bass', its first fan concert tour 'RIIZING DAY' in 10 regions around the world, and its new song 'Combo' to celebrate its first anniversary. Like the fruits of its one-year growth, it received a total of nine trophies at the K-pop awards ceremony held in November, including 'KGMA', 'MAMA AWARDS', and 'MMA'. In addition, he also performed at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony, showing off his different skills.
At the same time, the high-quality stage presented at each awards ceremony proved the title of 'Top Tier' once again. On December 11th, Fuji TV 'FNS is going to JapanExpectations are rising for Rise's performance, which can be seen at domestic and international year-end special broadcasts such as KBS2TV's 'Music Bank Global Festival' on the 19th, SBS' 'Song Festival' on the 25th, and Japanese TV Asahi's 'Music Station Super Live' on the 27th.
- If there was anything you were especially looking forward to or nervous about the year-end ceremony.
▶ So-hee: When I heard that I started the MMA stage alone, and I sang the highlight of 'Combo' without music, I was excited and worried. Looking back, I think it was a big challenge for me and an opportunity to grow further. Thanks to the support of the members and Breeze, we were able to do it safely.
▶ Antone: MAMA has the concept of 'Popstar' and MMA has 'Rockstar' and we've shown you two things. MAMA was nervous because it was standing at the Dolby Theater, which is very famous in the U.S. There was a part of MMA where I played the base by myself, and I did my best to prepare it in a short time. Thanks to this, I learned how to play the bass, and I remember that day's performance was also on the stage.
- Is there a memorable moment while practicing or an episode you want to share.
▶ SHOTARO: We did the intro performance together at MAMA, and there was a difficult part where I put my back to the front. I couldn't keep doing it, so I asked the choreographer for advice, and he said, `I'm sticking with it! They're telling me to think that I'm gathering. So, I practiced with Wonbin making a sound like I was adding energy. I thought it was a taekwondo academy (laughs).
▶ Eun-seok: MMA stage composition was diverse, and after Anton bass solo, SUNGCHAN and I will perform the fair choreography, SHOTARO, WONBIN and SOHEE. At first, I practiced intensively in groups of 1 person ▶ 2 people ▶ 3, but one day, when we gathered together and put it together, it was fun as if the puzzle pieces were being put together.
- What kind of mindset did you prepare for the performance? How did you feel.
▶ SUNGCHAN: I've been busy for a year, but I wanted to repay not only the fans who supported RISE, but also all the people who sent me love. I worked hard with the members to make a good stage and I'm glad that I finished the stage without any mistakes. Please look forward to the rest of the year-end performances!
▶ Won-bin: I still remember last year's year-end performance so vividly that I was worried and burdened about how I could show a better performance than last year. I'm glad and proud that we finished without an accident.

▶ SHOTARO: I performed with American dancers, and I learned a lot about their vibes and power. And I felt that I've grown up once again in expressing my feelings to my fans.
▶ Eun-seok: I think the spectrum of Rise is broadened. We tried something different with a performance that felt like "Michael Jackson".
▶ SUNGCHAN: I feel stronger as a team this year. I think we became one with our fans.
▶ Won-bin: Compared to last year, we performed a performance that showed our individual charms better, so I think we've all improved our individual skills.
▶ So-hee: I think we've grown more in supporting each other as a team.
▶ Anton: Rise's 'Confidence'. I felt pressured to show a better performance than last year, but I think I'm confident that I can do better because I have a year of experience on stage.
- Any new year's resolutions for 2025, or anything you want to say to Breeze.
▶ SHOTARO: I hope we can prepare well for the next album and show many new sides to Breeze. If I can have a concert, I want to see more Breeze. I hope all of our members and Breeze are healthy!
▶ Eun-seok: In the new year, it will be more 'Rising'Rise. I'll try to make better memories with Breeze! Let's have a healthy and fun time together!!
▶ SUNGCHAN: I'll say one word with an impact. Rise Breeze is coming up in 2025 as well!!
▶ Won-bin: If 2024 was the year of learning, I want to show more things based on learning in 2025. I hope Breeze looks forward to it more in the future.
