Jang Yoon-chul, a former professional gamer, won his first title in the PSL (Premier Star League).
Jang Yoon-chul beat Seo Moon-ji-hoon 3-0 in the second round final of PSL's first season at Red Force PC Arena Sadang branch in Sadang-dong, Seoul on the 13th. Jang Yoon-chul, who finished second in the previous first round with a 2-3 loss to Kim Ji-sung, shook off his disappointment by winning the very next round.
Jang Yoon-chul won the first point by defending the early juggling attack of Seo Moon-ji-hoon, who chose the jug in the first set, and then used the appropriate combination of the protos unit against Seo Moon-ji-hoon, who chose Terran, the main race, in the second set.
In the last three sets, he defended Seo Moon Ji-hoon's early attack well and ran to the championship with the strength of defense. After the game, Jang Yoon-chul prepared hard after losing to Kim Ji-sung in the first round final, and the result was good. I want to participate in PSL whenever I have time. I want to win every time I participate."
The PSL, which competes as a "StarCraft Remastered", is an open-ended competition where all amateurs, including former and current professional gamers, can participate, starting its first season this year. It will start the third round immediately following the first and second rounds before playing the final match of the first season in October.
