Carlos Umberto Grisales Higuita, a school bus driver in Medellin City, Antioch, Colombia, was arrested for kidnapping and sexually abusing a girl for 12 years, according to local media, including Infobe.
In 2012, he kidnapped the victim, who was just seven years old, and hid her at her home in Medellin. He often moved around so that people around him wouldn't notice him.
The police made him think that he had psychologically manipulated and sexually abused the girl, and that this behavior was normal.

He changed the girl's name and prevented contact with the surroundings. At the same time, it was revealed that he sexually abused and made a video of it.
Then, the girl, who turned 16 in 2021, began to be unhappy with her life and finally managed to escape in February this year after peeking at the opportunity. Local police have been carefully investigating the girl for her treatment and psychological stability, but recently announced the details of the incident.
The suspect, who is currently in custody, denies the charges brought by the police.
