[Sportschosun Kim So-hee Reporter] Comedian Lee Kyung-sil expressed deep affection for her grandson, who was born after her son's premarital pregnancy.
On the morning of the 23rd, KBS 1TV's "Morning Forum" featured Lee Kyung-sil, Jo Hye-ryeon, Kim Ji-seon, and Kim Hyo-jin, who are appearing in the play "Love You, Mom," and they shared their long-standing friendship and recent updates.
When the conversation turned to her grandson, Lee Kyung-sil broke into a broad smile and showed her doting-grandmother side. Recalling the time when she became a grandmother earlier than expected because of her son Son Bo-seung's premarital pregnancy, she candidly said, "At first, I was flustered and even upset. But as the child grew and started doing cute things, I couldn't help but adore him."
The broadcast then showed a video of her grandson imitating a bird, adding to the warm atmosphere. Watching the clip, Lee Kyung-sil could not hide her pleased smile and said, "He has that kind of talent. Even as a child, he showed signs of it."
Jo Hye-ryeon then recalled the past, saying, "Didn't you say, 'What is this about?' when he was conceived?" Kim Ji-seon also drew laughter by revealing, "When I said, 'Congratulations, sister,' you told me, 'Don't say that!'"
Caught off guard by the sudden remarks, Lee Kyung-sil hurried to clarify while speaking to her grandson: "Lee Hoon! You have no idea how happy I was when you came into this world. The day you were born was the day I gained everything in the world. Whatever anyone says, that is a complete lie." Her quick response sent the studio into laughter.
Meanwhile, Lee Kyung-sil previously confessed that she was deeply shocked when her son Son Bo-seung became a father at 23 through a premarital pregnancy, and that she had cut off contact with him for about a year.
