Lee Si-eon and Seo Ji-seung Reveal Their Son's Name Chosen at a Naming Service: "His Prenatal Name Was Tae-geon, but We Chose Solmin Because It Might Clash with Mom"

On the 27th, a video titled "We decided on our son's name! First-time dad Lee Si-eon's parenting lesson before leaving the postpartum care center. The crazy chemistry of Kim Dong-hyun, a father of four, and Nucksal, a father of two, packed with all kinds of jokes and parenting tips" was released on the YouTube channel 'Sian's Cool.'

In the video, Lee Si-eon showed how excited he was as he made a family album by hand before his son came home. He said, "Back in the day, when friends showed me photos of their babies and asked, 'Isn't he cute?' I honestly didn't feel it that much. But isn't our baby beautiful?" revealing his doting-father side.

To share parenting tips with the first-time father, Kim Dong-hyun, a father of four, and Nucksal, a father of two, visited his home. When Nucksal asked, "When is your son coming home?" Lee Si-eon replied, "About 10 days left. We set the postpartum care center stay for three weeks."

Nucksal then drew laughter by offering practical advice, saying, "Cut everything off and go on a trip. Leave right now for a two-night, two-day getaway somewhere." Kim Dong-hyun also looked at the plastic model kits Lee Si-eon had collected and shared his own experience, saying, "Take lots of photos. By the time the baby grows up, they'll be gone because you won't be able to keep them. After three months, everything ends up in a box," causing everyone to burst out laughing.

Later, Lee Si-eon revealed the name of his son, which he chose at a naming service introduced by Nucksal. He explained, "His prenatal name was Tae-geon, but we decided on Solmin. The first character means 'to lead,' and the second means 'mountain name.' They said the name Tae-geon had a high chance of clashing with his mother." Nucksal responded, "You really picked a very uncommon name."

Meanwhile, on the day he left the postpartum care center, Lee Si-eon had already prepared everything, including a sterilized car wash and a newborn boarding sticker. He said, "I'm extremely nervous," showing the tension of a first-time father.

As they headed home by car with their son, his wife Seo Ji-seung smiled and said, "He really looks a lot like you." Lee Si-eon replied, "He looks so much like my father. I was shocked."

Seo Ji-seung also said, "He does resemble your father more than you. He looks so much like him that I get surprised when I hold him. It feels like I'm holding your father," she said with a laugh. Lee Si-eon added, "My father says, 'Solmin is our happiness.' He has become so happy," expressing his pride.

Seo Ji-seung went on to say, "My father says he feels like his feet are not touching the ground. He says it feels like he is flying in the sky every day." She added, "Having a baby really seems to change the atmosphere at home completely."
