LG Uplus Unveils Voice Message-Based Personalized Cheer Campaign 'Simple Mailbox'

LG Uplus said on the 14th that it is running an interactive campaign called "Simple Mailbox," which connects customers through voice messages and has been drawing a positive response. The campaign was designed to create a new experience that links people through phone calls and voice response system (ARS).

According to LG Uplus, anyone can join the Simple Mailbox campaign regardless of their mobile carrier by calling the main number and choosing one of three options: 1 for "Leave a cheer," 2 for "Listen to a cheer," or 3 for "Leave a cheer for firefighters" for a limited time. Each cheer message is recorded for about one minute, and saved messages are then delivered to other users.

In particular, when users choose "Leave a cheer" or "Leave a cheer for firefighters," 1,000 won is donated per entry to Hope Sharing for Firefighter Families. The campaign is being run in connection with the content series "People Fighting Every Second," which promotes LG Uplus's Firefighter corporate line priority access service that supports firefighters' rapid rescue operations. The priority access service helps ensure smooth communication for firefighting work in situations where mobile traffic surges all at once, such as at major fire or accident scenes. Earlier this year, LG Uplus also carried out various activities, including supporting the families of fallen firefighters with proceeds from T-shirt sales for the 119 Memorial Run.

An LG Uplus official said, "Through Simple Lab, we will listen to customers' voices and create a new culture of participation where people can give and receive encouragement with just one voice message through Simple Mailbox, connecting Uplus's values to everyday experiences."
