[Sportschosun reporter Jung Bit] Actor Ji Seung-hyun is proving himself as a versatile all-rounder.

The second part of Ji Seung-hyun's life in the countryside, where he enjoys a five-days-in-the-city, two-days-in-the-country routine, was revealed on KBS's "Fun-Staurant," which aired on the 18th.

Ji spent his days tending a vegetable garden, planting potato seedlings, making a K-style rural brunch with ingredients he harvested himself, and attending a village meeting. His simple country life gave viewers a warm and familiar charm.

A special guest appeared on the show that day: singer Young Tak. He rushed all the way to Miryang to see Ji Seung-hyun, showing their strong friendship. Their easy chemistry and playful back-and-forth brought cheerful energy to viewers at home. The menu prepared for Young Tak included pork belly grilled on a cooking shovel and tteokbokki, a nostalgic dish he used to make while dreaming of opening a snack bar with his family during his struggling years.

Because the dish carried so many memories and emotions, it took on a deeper meaning. That naturally led to the name "Hard Tteokbokki."

After the meal, attention turned to the making of the music for the special project "Hard Tteokbokki" by the "Andong Brothers." The track, released on the 17th before the broadcast, was written by Ji Seung-hyun and completed on the spot when Young Tak added the melody. With a message of comfort for people living through difficult realities, the song offered a warm sense of empathy.

Ji Seung-hyun also recently released a track called "Rain Sound." He created it while riding in a car between filming locations, listening to traffic jams and the sound of rain falling outside the window. The song carries a message of hope, suggesting that even in moments of uncertainty about the future, a path will eventually open.

Ji Seung-hyun, who has shown a strong presence in a wide range of works and has also been recognized for his thoughtful delivery as a presenter on KBS's "History Special - Time Traveler," is winning over viewers with his human charm and humor on KBS's "Fun-Staurant." Expanding his range into lyric writing and storytelling, he is also drawing attention as a talented multientertainer who turns his own emotions and stories into songs.

"Hard Tteokbokki" and "Rain Sound," both written by Ji Seung-hyun, are available on major music streaming platforms.
