[Sportschosun Jung Bit] From enlisting together to moving agencies together, ONF is now on the same ship, opening the door to a bigger leap forward.

ONF held a showcase for its second full album, "ONF 2nd Full Album Part.2: My Self," at Cube Convention Center in Sangam, Seoul, on the 17th and talked about the new release.

The new album continues the story from last year's second full album, "ONF: My Identity." The previous record told the story of travelers chasing their dreams and offered hope and strength to those in the dark. This time, it captures the story of making a choice for oneself at the end of the journey.

Above all, the album drew attention because it is the group's first release since leaving WM Entertainment and setting up a new home at K I Entertainment. Seungjun said, "Our members and the company both worked really hard to get this album out. We thought a lot about how to show our true selves better. I'm excited and looking forward to it."

Minkyun said, "I am truly grateful that we were able to release this album. I also want to thank the fans who waited for us for so long. I think it was possible because they felt the same way we did. I hope our sincerity reaches many people."

After enlisting together and then changing agencies together, the members' strong bond was also on display. Minkyun explained the secret behind staying together, saying, "We all had the same goal. We trust each other deeply, and our teamwork is excellent. We thought that if we all moved forward together with that mindset, good results would follow."

Wyatt nodded and said, "We fought a lot, but we really became a family. When we decided to move, all six of us naturally agreed to go together. It wasn't something special; it just felt natural."

The title track, "Open the Door," captures the complex emotions felt in the split second before moving from an uneasy present into the future. Its powerful rock sound and ONF's vocals, which move across a wide range, are expected to leave a distinct impression.

Wyatt said, "When I first heard the song, I thought it could become a second 'Bye Bye Monster.' It felt like a textbook example of K-pop." He added, "I wondered how relatable the feeling of opening a door in an uneasy present could be. I hope listeners can relate to it and feel the urge to open that door when things are not going well."

Seungjun said, "It felt refreshing, lonely, worn out, and sad all at once. The song is packed with emotions, so I hope people listen to it in different situations." E-Tion added, "I think it would be great to listen to it when you need courage, such as when changing jobs or taking on a challenge. Since the title track is built on a rock sound, it has a cool appeal. If it can help you feel refreshed this summer, I hope you will give it a listen."

In particular, composer Hwang Hyun, known as "Hwangbeoji" and a longtime supporter since the group's debut days, once again stepped in to help, drawing attention. Wyatt said, "When we said we were starting over, we had a lot of worries. But he agreed to work with us, which made those worries disappear. I want to take this opportunity to thank him."

Seungjun added, "We have always talked with him about even the smallest things. If possible, I hope we can continue to build ONF's great story together."

As the song title suggests, the group has opened a door, so they were asked how they view the future. E-Tion replied, "The future cannot be predicted, but if we work hard in the present, I think a good future will come."

Hyojin said, "We have goals we want to achieve as ONF. We want to hold concerts in bigger venues than we do now, and we want to see our name appear on music charts more often." He added, "We are moving forward with the positive belief that we can achieve those goals someday."

ONF will release its second full album, "ONF 2nd Full Album Part.2: My Self," on various online music services at 6 p.m. on the 17th and begin promotional activities.
