[Sportschosun reporter Jeong Bit] ONF expressed their determination as they begin a new chapter at a new agency.
At the showcase for their second full-length album, "ONF: My Self," held on the 17th at Cube Convention in Seoul's Sangam-dong, ONF said, "When we said we were starting over, we were very worried," adding, "But writer Hwang Hyun said he would do it with us."
The new album continues the narrative from last year's second full-length album, "ONF: My Identity." In the previous album, they conveyed hope and the strength to move forward to those in the dark as travelers chasing a dream. This time, they tell a story of making their own choice at the end of the journey.
What has drawn particular attention is that this is their first release since the members left WM Entertainment and set up a new home at K I Entertainment. Seungjun said, "It took a lot of hard work from both the members and the company to get this album out. We thought a lot about how to show our true selves better. We’re excited and looking forward to it."
Minkyun said, "I’m truly grateful that we were able to release this album. I’m also thankful to the fans who waited for such a long time. I think it was possible because they felt the same way we did. I hope our sincerity reaches many people."
Producer Hwang Hyun, who has worked with them since their debut and is affectionately known as "Hwangbeoji," once again stepped in to support the group. Wyatt said, "When we said we were starting something new, we were very worried. But he said he would do it with us, which made all those worries disappear. I want to take this opportunity to thank him."
ONF will release their second full-length album, "ONF: My Self," on various online music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 17th and begin promotions.
