[Sportschosun Jung Yoo-na] Hong Hye-geol and Yeo Esther have shared an update after ending their separation.
On the 23rd, SBS's "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny" released a preview for next week's episode titled "Doctor couple Hong Hye-geol and Yeo Esther start their newlywed diary again in Jeju after ending their separation."
Hong Hye-geol said directly, "My wife and I ended our separation after last August," confirming that the couple had moved back in together after living apart for five years.
He then spoke about Yeo Esther's health, saying, "When my wife was receiving psychiatric treatment, I realized her depression was more serious than I had thought. She had far too many dark thoughts. She even said she had set a date because she didn't want to live, and it caused quite a scene." He added, "I had no idea at all. I think she needed comfort."
The couple is currently living together in Jeju Island and continuing their married life. They showed the affection of a long-married couple, while also drawing laughter with occasional bickering.
Hong Hye-geol also commented on Yeo Esther's personality, saying, "My wife really has a psychotic side. Even if I say this, she won't be offended." Yeo Esther responded coolly, "That's right. I'm not offended. I admit I'm psychotic."
Meanwhile, Yeo Esther had previously confessed that her depression worsened after her younger sibling's death.
