[Sportschosun Reporter Lee Ji-hyun] Singer Sung Si-kyung drew laughs by parodying one of actor Oh Jung-se's iconic scenes from the film "Wild Thing."
On the official social media account for KBS2's music talk show "The Seasons: Sung Si-kyung's Meeting You," a short promotional video was recently released along with the message, "A confession message sent by the smile angel. Let's meet next week, not this week."
In the video, Sung Si-kyung appeared wearing a light blue knit sweater and a white T-shirt, with large angel wings attached to his back. Pink heart effects and sweet captions such as "Because you're pretty," "I like you," and "Because you're kind" created a mood reminiscent of a dating simulation game.
Sung Si-kyung continued his playful performance by posing with his hand on his cheek and throwing finger hearts toward the camera. The scene parodied Choi Seong-gon, the character played by Oh Jung-se in "Wild Thing." In the film, Choi Seong-gon sings "You Like Me" as a tragic ballad prince who finishes 39 consecutive weeks in second place. Sung Si-kyung recreated the original's awkward charm so faithfully that it made viewers laugh.
As filming went on, however, Sung Si-kyung became increasingly embarrassed. He eventually stopped the shoot and told the production team, "Is this a music show?" His sudden realization of the situation sent everyone on set into laughter.
Meanwhile, the official account also announced, "The Seasons Special will air this week," and added that "Sung Si-kyung's Meeting You" will air next Friday, July 3, at 11 p.m.
