[Sportschosun Jo Min-jeong] Broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon visited the Seoul Queer Culture Festival and sent a message of support.
On the 25th, Hong Seok-cheon posted a photo on his social media account along with the captions "Seoul Queer Festival" and "Let's all live loving one another."
In the photo, Hong Seok-cheon is seen at the festival venue wearing a black sleeveless top and smiling brightly at the camera. He also drew attention as he enjoyed the event in a relaxed outfit, with an event pass around his neck and a mobile phone in his hand.
With the brief message "Let's all live loving one another," Hong Seok-cheon conveyed the meaning of diversity and respect.
Hong Seok-cheon made headlines in South Korea in 2000 when he became the first entertainer in the country to publicly reveal his sexual identity. Since then, he has remained active in broadcasting, restaurant business, and entertainment, while continuing to speak out for LGBTQ rights and diversity.
The Seoul Queer Culture Festival is a leading annual queer cultural event in South Korea, held to promote LGBTQ rights and respect for diversity. This year, it is taking place from the 1st to the 28th under the slogan "Intersection: Connecting Differences," and the Seoul Queer Parade was held on the 13th in the Euljiro and Jongno areas of Seoul.
