[Sportschosun Reporter Jeong Bit] Disney+ sports variety show "Baseball Queen 2" has confirmed its premiere for July 10 and unveiled a main poster and teaser trailer announcing the return of the stronger Black Queens.
"Queen of Baseball" is a sports variety show that follows athletes from different disciplines as they join the Black Queens, South Korea's 50th women's baseball team, and take on the challenge of winning the national women's baseball championship. Season 1, released in November last year, drew strong attention as it showed legendary athletes from various sports growing into one team through baseball.
Buoyed by fans' support, "Baseball Queen 2" returns with a more powerful lineup and even fiercer competition. Choo Shin-soo and coaches Yoon Seok-min and Lee Dae-hyung are reuniting to lead the team, while players from the previous season will return with upgraded skills. New additions to the roster are also expected to further strengthen the Black Queens.
The newly released main poster captures the Black Queens' renewed determination as they come together again as one. The teaser trailer raises anticipation by showing not only the intense battle for victory, but also the players' journey as they trust and rely on one another to grow into a true team. It also hints at stronger teamwork in moments of crisis and an emotional drama that will unfold on the field.
Meanwhile, Season 1 of "Queen of Baseball," which chronicles the beginning of the Black Queens, is also available on Disney+, allowing viewers to enjoy the full growth story from Season 1 through Season 2 in one place.
"Baseball Queen 2" will be released every Friday on Disney+ starting July 10 and will meet viewers with a total of 14 episodes.
