Jeong Ho-young Surprises Park Eun-young's JTBC Web Variety Show on YouTube, Asking, "How Do You Pay the Staff's Salaries?"

[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Chef Jeong Ho-young expressed concern for the production team of "Babeunyoung."

On the 23rd, a video titled "'Are We Just Eating Raw Today?' I’ll Steal Chef Jeong Ho-young’s Personal Japanese Recipe for Myself" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Babeunyoung."

Before the guest appeared, Park Eun-young opened the show alone by dancing through the intro. She practiced hard and said, "Is dancing with the chef easy? You just have to be better than the chef."

The guest who prompted Park Eun-young to practice dancing was Chef Jeong Ho-young. The two are currently competing as dance rivals on JTBC's "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator."

Jeong, who was surprised to see several cameras and a large production crew as soon as he arrived, exclaimed, "Why are there so many people? This is a success. There are five cameras." Park asked, "How many cameras do you use for your YouTube channel?" and Jeong was stunned again, saying, "Three? How do you pay the salaries?" Park joked, "We just do it."

Park asked, "Among the chefs from 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,' is there anyone you think would be good as a guest?" Jeong said, "If you think about views, Chef Son Jong-won," and added that Yoon Nam-no would also do well, saying, "Nam-no would be good too."

Park worried, saying, "I'm close with Chef Nam-no, so that might work, but I'm afraid Chef Son Jong-won might turn me down." Jeong then offered to send a video message on her behalf, asking, "Should I tell him?" He told Son Jong-won, "Son Jong-won, Park Eun-young is waiting for you," and added a pointed joke: "This show might disappear. Son Jong-won, come out quickly."

Meanwhile, JTBC declared a default on debt on the 12th after failing to repay 20.6 billion won in securitized borrowings at maturity. Two days later, on the 14th, JoongAng Holdings, ContentreeJoongAng, Jungang P&I, and Megabox Joongang each filed for restructuring proceedings, and JTBC also submitted its own application on the 15th.

Rumors then spread that JTBC had suspended filming for variety shows such as "Divorce Camp," "Knowing Bros," and "TalkPawon 25:00," excluding "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" and "Love War." JTBC denied the reports, saying they were not true, but viewers remain uneasy. Since "Babeunyoung" is also a JTBC-affiliated web variety show, fans have been leaving supportive comments such as, "Is the 'Babeunyoung' YouTube channel okay? Please keep uploading," and "Stay strong."
