Lee Soo-kyung Reveals Health Scare: "Even the Doctor Said It Was So Bad He Had Nothing to Say... I Almost Crossed the River of Death"

[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo reporter] Actress Lee Soo-kyung has revealed that she recently suffered a health scare.

On the 25th, a video titled "How Many Chanel Bags Are in Her Closet...? Lee Soo-kyung Reveals Her Luxury Bags, Favorite Items, and Her Unusual Fashion Taste" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Lee Soo-kyung Career Track."

When she met the production team again after two months, Lee Soo-kyung said, "I was really sick and had such a hard time." She added, "I lost some weight, and I was really sick this time. I was sick for more than a month. I suddenly got sick and my fever went up to 39 degrees Celsius. It was the first time I realized what it means when a person cannot do anything." She continued, "I caught some kind of virus. I think my immune system has weakened a lot, so I need to pay much more attention to that. That is why I am focusing more on cleanliness and being careful about what I eat. Lately, I am trying to do a better job of taking care of myself."

Lee Soo-kyung said, "I was in so much pain that even the parts of my body that brushed against something hurt. I felt sorry that I could not even contact the production team. When you catch this virus, it feels like you have come back from the edge of death. I also went to a Korean medicine clinic, but the doctor said there was nothing more he could say. My condition was at its worst, so there was nothing else to do. I could not even use strong medicine."

Now that she has fortunately regained her strength, Lee Soo-kyung said, "I am trying to eat well. I am also not drinking alcohol."

Lee Soo-kyung had previously worn a chest belt while eating in order to diet, but she said she has now taken it off for her health. Asked what has changed since her illness, she explained, "I was told not to do things like exercise yet. I am trying to eat well, rest well at home, and pay more attention to cleanliness. I think I have been doing a lot of things I can do at home."
