[Sportschosun Kim Joon-seok] Broadcaster Kim Dae-ho said he was "honestly scared" after receiving a call from MBC's "PD Notebook."
As "PD Notebook" recently aired reports on a range of allegations surrounding One Hundred Label, where Kim Dae-ho is affiliated, and its CEO, attention has focused on his remarks after he said he was contacted around that time.
On MBC's entertainment program "Radio Star," which aired on the 24th, Kim Dae-ho recalled, "I got a call from 'PD Notebook.' Suddenly hearing 'PD Notebook' made me feel very uneasy, and honestly, I was scared."
When Kim Gook-jin asked, "What happened?" he replied, "If I explain it in detail, it would hurt too much," and held back from giving a specific reason.
Kim Dae-ho is currently active under One Hundred Label. The agency has recently drawn attention over disputes with its artists over exclusive contracts, and MBC's "PD Notebook" also covered various allegations surrounding its CEO.
That day, Kim Dae-ho also spoke candidly about how his daily life has changed since becoming a freelancer.
He said, "I kept hearing things like, 'It was better when you were an announcer' and 'Your opening-day luck has run out,'" adding, "At first I thought I would not care, but hearing it over and over made me feel weak."
He went on to say, "It has been about a year and a half since I went freelance, and I have felt frustrated many times," but added calmly, "Still, I have never regretted it."
