That day, Jang Sung-kyu brought up his own story while introducing the concerns of a man in his fourth year of marriage. The man first said, "My wife wanted breast surgery, but I was against it. But she eventually went ahead and had the surgery without telling me. After that, I started avoiding intimacy with her," and spoke candidly about conflict with his wife.
In response, Jang Sung-kyu revealed that he had also undergone gynecomastia surgery, saying, "I actually had breast surgery too. It was gynecomastia. I did it without discussing it with my wife." He added, "My wife had known since we were dating that I was stressed about it. She was also very satisfied with the surgery, so she let it go."
Jang Sung-kyu advised, "I was always hunched over because I was embarrassed about my chest. Even when I played basketball at school, I remember constantly pulling my shirt forward because there were girls there. I understand how that wife feels. She must have a sense of confidence and freedom she has never enjoyed in her life. I’ve felt that myself. Try to understand your wife and congratulate her."
