[Sportschosun Reporter Lee Woo-joo] Lee Soo-kyung said on 'What to Do with Leftovers' that she had even considered adoption.
On the 29th episode of tvN STORY's 'What to Do with Leftovers,' actor Lee Tae-gon and Lee Soo-kyung appeared.
Lee Soo-kyung, who said her dream at age 20 was to get married, explained that she began working and found joy in her job. Lee Tae-gon asked, "Wasn't there anyone you liked while working?" and Lee Young-ja also asked, "Don't actors date each other?" But Lee Soo-kyung said, "I don't aim for that. It's not exactly taboo, but if things ended badly and we ran into each other, wouldn't it be awkward?" Lee Tae-gon then said, "You actually don't run into each other that often."
Lee Soo-kyung confessed, "Rather than blind dates, people try to set things up so we can meet naturally, but I'm not the type to contact people as much as others think, and because I work, I don't end up doing it often."
She then asked Lee Tae-gon, "Please tell me what makes a good man." In response, Lee Tae-gon said, "You have to let him try fishing. If you take him on a boat and out to a rocky shore, you'll know. For 12 hours, if the captain doesn't come, you have to stand there somehow, whether you catch fish or not. There's nowhere to sit. That's when his personality really shows. If he has no patience, he'll put down the rod, keep looking at his phone, and curse to himself. Good people sit there patiently whether the fish bite or not. I like a man like that. Someone patient," explaining his view.
Lee Soo-kyung, who said she definitely wanted to have a child, lamented, "Because my marriage was delayed, I thought about freezing my eggs, but I gave up because I thought I wouldn't be able to use them in Korea before getting married. I also thought about adoption, but I was told I couldn't adopt. I was told nothing is allowed before marriage."
Lee Tae-gon also worried, saying, "Men worry a lot too. There's such a big age gap with the child." Lee Soo-kyung then made everyone laugh by saying, "You know Kim Yong-gun, too."
Lee Young-ja asked, "You haven't completely given up on having a second-generation child, right?" Lee Tae-gon replied, "It doesn't matter whether I have one or not." He added, "There are a lot of infertile couples these days, and many couples run into problems because of that. It doesn't matter to me. We got married because we love each other, not just to have a child. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't."
