[Sportschosun Reporter Jung Bit] Group AtHeart is unveiling a global remake project that reinterprets hit songs from 1996 for listeners at home and abroad.

AtHeart is kicking off its global remake project, the Time Travel Project.

At 12 a.m. on the 11th, AtHeart released a poster for the Time Travel Project on its official social media accounts and announced plans to release two remake tracks.

The poster features a pink, heart-shaped cassette tape. The tape label is handwritten with "Say It" and "3! 4!", while the numbers "1996" and "2026" are placed on either side to express the project's concept. The retro-inspired design, complete with star stickers, also draws attention.

The Time Travel Project is a global remake project in which AtHeart reinterprets beloved Korean and international hits released in 1996 in its own style. The aim is to create a musical experience that connects the past and the present across a 30-year span.

For the project, AtHeart selected representative songs from the U.S. and Korea that were released in 1996. First, it will release "Say It," a reinterpretation of The Cardigans' hit "Lovefool," on the 25th. The original song was widely popular in the U.S. and around the world at the time.

In early August, the group will also unveil a remake of Roo'Ra's signature song "3! 4!". While preserving the familiar charm of the original, AtHeart plans to add its own energy and style to present it as a new summer season song.

Having long presented music and performances built around the theme of "twists," AtHeart plans to broaden its musical resonance across generations through this project. It is expected to offer listeners who grew up with the originals the joy of a fresh interpretation, while giving younger listeners discovering the songs for the first time a new sense of appeal.

AtHeart's first remake track, "Say It," will be released at 1 p.m. on the 25th through major global music streaming platforms.
