키움 손 혁 감독은 경기 전 "박병호를 2번에 배치했다"며 "득점권 때 안되고 하다 보니 부담을 많이 갖는 거 같다. 타격코치와 상의해서 '편하게 해주는 게 어떠냐'는 결론을 내렸다"고 설명했다. 손 감독은 "오늘 운동장에 나왔는데 표정이 밝더라. 2번도 편안한 위치는 아니지만 4번보단 중압감이 덜 할 테니 조금 더 편해지지 않을까 싶다"고 부연했다.
